Summer Brennan is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Orange County, California. She honed her songwriting and music production skills during the pandemic, leading to her first original, Boy, which became a weekly winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Four years later, Summer continues to impress fans as a performing artist and songwriter.
Artists such as Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, Maggie Rogers, and Holly Humberstone greatly influence Summer's writing and vocal style. In a haunting yet soothing voice, Summer depicts the highs and lows of discovering who she is as a teenage girl in today's society. Her lyrics are personal and relatable, inspired by her relationships, insecurities, and self-discovery through adolescence. Summer has a unique style with lyrics and sonic inflection that surpass her age in sophistication.
